Live in Peace

Don't let anyone or anything rob you of peace. God's will is for you to live in peace. That peace comes to you through the Prince of peace. His name is Jesus. Peace is evidence that the Spirit of Christ is at work in you. "Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us" (Romans 5:1, NLT).

Peace will lead you in God's will. There are two sure ways to know God's will for your life. First, read the Bible. It explains God's will. Second, let the peace of God confirm God's will. "And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts" (Colossians 3:15, NLT). Christ is every believer's Shepherd, leading you in the right path.

Peace will assure you of a personal relationship with God. He is the God of all peace. The presence of God comes to us in many ways, but most often through peace. God's Spirit moves in peace as a fruit of his presence. Let peace be your confirmation that God is with you always.

Let peace be your confidence in prayer. Don't think that God just moves in sensational ways. Be aware of his peace as you have fellowship with him in prayer. "His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7, NLT).
