God desires to bless His people. The covenant blessings are made clear in the Bible. An expression for receiving those blessings is that God makes His face to shine upon us. A face to face relationship is personal. God desires a personal relationship with every believer. It is fellowship with God.
How do we seek God's face of blessing? The blessings of God are for all through faith in Jesus Christ. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3). God desires to make His face shine upon us through Christ. Seeking God's face brings sure results by faith in Christ.
God blesses believers in Christ Jesus with grace or favor. He is gracious to you in Christ. His grace changes your life, takes away all of your sins, and places you in fellowship with God through Christ. That very fellowship with God brings peace. It is peace with God and peace in your mind and heart.
God blesses every believer with the promise to keep you. He will never break fellowship with you. He is able to keep you from falling. He keeps what you have committed to Him. He keeps you through life and death. His blessing is on you now and forever. "The LORD bless you and keep you. The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace" (Numbers 6:24-26).
