All Your Sins Forgiven

". . . the blood of Jesus Christ His Son
cleanses us from all sin."

1 John 1:7

Your sins are forgiven through the gospel of Christ. The gospel is the good news that Christ died for your sins. He was buried and raised from the dead. The gospel of God is the good news for you. Unless the good news is received by faith, there will be no assurance of your forgiveness. Your sins are forgiven according to the word of God by faith in Jesus Christ.

Are you sure that all of your sins are forgiven? Unbelief can rob you of assurance. Doubt can cause you to waver in your assurance. Faith is trust in God's trustworthiness to keep His promises. Those promises include forgiveness at the cross of Jesus. Faith takes God at His word. Faith is confidence in God's grace through Jesus Christ.

It's God's will to forgive all of your sins. The word "all" is in the promise of God. He not only forgives you, but He cleanses you. That means you are clean from sin before God, only and always because of the blood of Jesus shed for you. He is the one and only sacrifice for your sins. Forgiveness through Jesus includes all sins without exception.

Do you believe the promise of God to forgive you? It is received by faith alone, in Christ alone. Unbelief says, "That can't be true." Doubt says, "I just can't be sure." Faith says, "I believe the promise of God."
