Are You Trusting God?

A woman was facing many trials and difficulties. Her friend told her to trust God and He would be her safe place. The woman looked at her in silence, then she said, "How do I know that I'm really trusting God?" The friend said, "When you are really trusting God, you are not leaning on your own understanding. Trusting God is trusting His word."

Trusting God means that you don't depend on your own understanding. You cannot understand all the ways of God. Trusting God is confidently believing in His ability to help you and direct you.

All relationships are built on trust. Your relationship with God is trusting Him, because He is trustworthy. His word is your bond of trust.

Trusting God is taking Him at His word. The Bible gives you the written promises of God. Trust the promises of God. He is the Promise-Keeper. His word of promise is your sure foundation. Trust God through every situation of life. Trusting God is absolute confidence in His word of promise.

"He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust."
Psalm 91:2

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct your paths."
Proverbs 3:5-6
