Your walk with God brings peace. You have peace with God and peace within. As you walk with God, you continue to experience peace. If you begin to stray from God, the lack of peace is your first warning sign. Peace in your heart is one assurance that you are walking with God.
The greatest evidence that you are walking with God is love. It is the greatest gift of the Holy Spirit working within you. Your love is tested through circumstances and other people. It's easy to love those who love you, but God teaches us to love our enemies. That's a tall task, impossible without walking in the Spirit of Christ.
Three words describe your walk with God: mercy, peace, and love. As a believer, you can walk with God through the Spirit of Christ. Mercy invites you to walk with God. Peace assures your walk with God. Love is your delight in walking with God.
