God Your Father

Do you know God as your Father? It's more than an academic acceptance of Bible knowledge. It's experiencing the loving care of the Father in your life. It's talking to God in conversation as prayer, knowing that you are speaking to the Father, who loves you unconditionally.

You may have false ideas about who God really is. When you trust Him as your loving Father, you discover who God really wants to be in your life. It's more than knowing about God. It's knowing God as your Father.

God adopts you into His family by faith in Jesus Christ, that you may know Him as Father. Jesus teaches you to address God as Father in prayer. Through faith in Christ, the Holy Spirit comes into your life to know God as Father. You can really know God as your Father.
"For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!' The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God" (Romans 8:15-16, ESV).
"But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you" (Matthew 6:6, ESV).
