Do you believe that your sins are forgiven? There is only one who can forgive you, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. You receive His forgiveness through faith. That faith is based upon the death of Christ at the cross for all your sins. Faith receives assurance through the resurrection of your Lord Jesus. It's believing in what Christ has done. Believe and receive. Then, and only then, your sins are forgiven.
If there is any one sin from the past that holds you in the bondage of guilt, confess it to God. Receive by faith the sacrifice of Christ for that sin. Don't doubt God's word of truth. Believe the promise. Receive your forgiveness. Stand upon the eternal truth of God's word.
The sacrifice of Christ for your sins means that he took the punishment you deserve. He suffered, bled, and died that you could be free from all condemation and guilt. You are free from all guilt and shame. Agree with the good news. Trust Christ alone as the one who took your place at the cross.
